Elders Real Estate, Jamberoo are fabulously sponsoring two JPS students in years 5 or 6, 2020 to attend a specialist workshop or program in their field of Creative and Performing Arts interest.
Eligibility: be in year 5 or 6 at Jamberoo Public School in 2020.
Create a video of yourself.
Tell us which program you’re interested in. Research those listed above OR find a CAPA class/workshop that you are BUSTING to attend. It should be something that EXTENDS you – not just lessons you’re already taking.
Tell us clearly WHY you want to do the workshop/program and HOW it will be of benefit to you. Remember to describe any experience you already have in your chosen creative art.
The possibilities are endless – but your video doesn’t have to be too flash. Just put some thought into what you want to say, and be honest! You can read it, sing it, mime it – whatever takes your fancy. Maximum length: 1.5 mins
Save your video on a clearly labelled USB drive, pop it in an envelope and submit it to the school office by
Friday 27 March 2020.
Process: All video entries will be viewed and shortlisted by Elders Real Estate. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to meet with Vivienne Maris to have a chat about their application.
Even if you’re not chosen this time, you’ll come away with practice in presenting a persuasive presentation, and perhaps some new interview skills!
Selection will be independently assessed by Elders Real Estate. Parents/carers are responsible for transport to/from program.
